Known for their line of gas chainsaws, Dolmar has bragging rights to many innovative designs including the world’s lightest petrol chain saw.
As the first company to manufacture gas chainsaws, for over 80 years Dolmar has continually been improving upon that original concept. After developing a two-man chainsaw, the first one-man gas chainsaw was developed.
Other features that followed were the all-position diaphragm carburetor, the dual-mass vibration damper system and then the first injection carburetor chainsaw in their 60th year in operation.
Once they started working with the Makita Group, they expanded their product line and also moved into manufacturing electric products, starting with the electric hedgetrimmer. They continued their innovation by offering ergonomic handles on their power cutters.
A year after introducing the world’s lightest gas chainsaw, they came out with their first electric chainsaw product which was a classic combination of the powerful Makita electric motor and the optimized Dolmar handle system.
The motto that Dolmar has chosen for their line of electric chainsaws is “Good cutting in every situation.” With their reputation, obviously they make sure that applies to any product they manufacture … gas or electric. You can’t go wrong with a Dolmar.
