Jonsered created the prototype for today’s modern chainsaw in 1954 in Sweden. It was the first light, one-man chain saw … no longer were two men needed to work a saw.
They have continued developing and improving their chainsaws for over 50 years and now offer environmentally-friendly products. They even have documentation for how individual products affect the environment in regards to manufacturing, packaging, distribution, recycling and waste disposal.
Jonsered chainsaws are built to survive the rough handling of chopping down forest trees but there is obviously some upkeep that needs to be performed on your saw. Your instruction manual will tell you all you need to know to do most of the maintenance yourself.
